India secures vital 2-0 win against Kyrgyz Republic in 2019 AFC Asian Cup qualifying match

India secured a crucial 2-0 victory over Kyrgyz Republic in their AFC Asian Cup qualifier match held on 27th March 2023. The match was played at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi, with a capacity crowd cheering for the home team.
The Indian team started the match on the front foot, with captain Sunil Chhetri leading from the front. In the 24th minute, India took the lead through defender Sandesh Jhingan, who headed in a corner kick from Brandon Fernandes. The goal gave the Indian team the much-needed boost and they continued to dominate the game.
